Monsignor Michael O'Grady

It is with deep sadness we share the news of the death of Monsignor Michael O'Grady, Rector Emeritus of SS. Simon & Jude Cathedral.  Msgr. O'Grady passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Ireland.  He was a great blessing to the Cathedral community, to the Loreto Sisters, to the Cursillo community and to many people across the diocese.  He touched many lives with his simple wisdom, profound love and gentle spirit. He was dearly loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Let us all pray for Msgr. O'Grady's eternal rest and for the consolation of his family, the Loreto Sisters, the Cathedral community and the many many people who have been deeply impacted by his priestly ministry.
 
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.

                                         Reception following the Mass in Our Lady of Loreto Center gym
                                         Refreshments will be provided, but if you’d like to bring                                                                       something, please bring a dessert to share.  You may drop it off                                                           in the gym before the Mass. Thank you!
